Jitter Click Test
Measure your jitter click rate over 10 seconds, then learn the technique — and the injury limits — below.
Leave the tab mid-test and the attempt is discarded, not scored.
Humans can't react faster than ~80ms. Faster taps are flagged and excluded.
Double-taps and macro bursts can't inflate a reading.
What is jitter clicking?
Jitter clicking tenses the forearm and wrist so the hand vibrates over the button, producing rapid alternating clicks — typically 8–14 CPS once practised.
How to jitter click
Rest the palm lightly, keep the wrist stiff and slightly raised, then tense the forearm until the hand trembles. Channel that vibration into the fingertip rather than pressing with it. Train in two to three second bursts.
Is jitter clicking bad for you?
Used in long sessions it can strain the wrist and forearm tendons, because you are deliberately holding a muscle in a tremor. Short, warmed-up bursts are generally fine. Pain is a stop sign, not a milestone to push through.
